Reader Profile: Who is the backpacker?
- Backpackers are independent travellers mainly aged 18-35 years. They are usually from the USA, Canada, UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand. Every year their numbers INCREASE as more people take “gap” years.
- Unlike tourists, backpackers visit Asia all year round. They spend up to 6 months travelling the region widely. They aim to ‘experience’ as much as possible!
- They seek adventure; diving, rock climbing, trekking, biking. They like to experience the culture through; cooking classes, TEFL courses, events & festivals.
- Word of mouth is strong amongst backpackers. They recommend places to other backpackers they meet along the way & share information with friends & family at home.

- Format of advert: Please provide high resolution jpeg / pdf (at least 300dpi). Sizes on request
- Free design: We also offer design by our professional in-house design team free of charge for our customers. Please provide high quality photographs and an idea of wording. We will create several options of advert for you to choose from. You can make any changes to the advert until you are happy to go to print. You can also make changes to your artwork every issue.
- Payment: We send the invoice only after the magazine is printed. Payment can be made via bank transfer to our Thai company bank account or via paypal using a credit / debit card. (This option is better for overseas customers to avoid international transfer fees.)
